Carrot Partners with ŌURA and Dexcom to Enhance Fertility Health
Carrot, a global platform dedicated to fertility and family care, has announced a strategic partnership with ŌURA and Dexcom. This collaboration aims to revolutionize fertility support by integrating biometric data into Carrot’s metabolic-fertility program, known as Sprints. The partnership marks a significant advancement in how individuals pursue their family-building goals, leveraging cutting-edge technology.
The integration features Stelo by Dexcom, an FDA-cleared glucose biosensor available without a prescription. Carrot members enrolled in the program will benefit from access to biometric data from both the ŌURA smart ring and the Stelo device. This innovative approach enables users to track essential metrics and receive personalized clinical guidance from Carrot’s experts.
Enhancing the Metabolic-Fertility Journey
Carrot’s Sprints program is tailored to assist members in navigating fertility challenges associated with metabolic disorders, such as obesity and blood sugar irregularities. By utilizing data from wearable technologies, Carrot’s clinical teams, trained to interpret ŌURA and Stelo data, can offer tailored, evidence-based care plans.
The integration of these data streams provides a comprehensive understanding of metabolic-fertility health. Members can analyze key aspects of their health, including menstrual cycle patterns, sleep quality, stress management, and glucose level trends. This holistic view is particularly beneficial for those in the pre-pregnancy phase, known as Premester, as it highlights critical health factors that can influence fertility outcomes.
Members will also have the opportunity to combine insights from Carrot nutritionists with real-time tracking through the ŌURA Meals feature. This comprehensive approach allows individuals to assess how lifestyle choices impact both metabolic health and fertility readiness.
Starting in November 2025, participants in the Sprints program will receive ŌURA Ring devices and Stelo biosensors. The full integration of data between Carrot, ŌURA, and Dexcom is anticipated to be operational by early 2026. This partnership not only serves current members but also lays the groundwork for expanding wearable technology support across various life stages that Carrot addresses.
Hilary Bartlett, Chief Product Officer of Carrot, emphasized the importance of combining data with professional support. “Putting data in the hands of our members is an important first step, but it needs to be paired with actionable support from experts to improve health outcomes,” she stated.
This collaboration signifies a forward-thinking approach to fertility and metabolic health, potentially transforming how individuals manage their journey towards family building. With plans to further develop technology integration, Carrot aims to enhance its offerings and support for all stages of fertility and family care.
