Netflix House Opens in Dallas with Immersive Experiences
Netflix has officially launched its new venue, Netflix House, at Galleria Dallas, welcoming fans on December 11, 2023. This innovative space spans over 100,000 square feet and offers visitors a chance to engage with beloved Netflix shows through immersive experiences. The venue features popular titles such as Wednesday, Squid Game, One Piece, Stranger Things, and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise, allowing fans to step into the worlds of their favorite programs.
Dallas becomes the second city in the United States to host a Netflix House, following Philadelphia. In advance of the public opening, a VIP event was held on December 9, where media, influencers, local celebrities, and Netflix executives had the opportunity to explore the venue. Notable attendees included David Harbour and Cara Buono from *Stranger Things*, as well as Alexandra Breckenridge from *Virgin River*.
Visitors to Netflix House can expect a variety of attractions designed to enhance their experience. The venue features two immersive rooms, which require tickets priced at $39 per person. In the *Stranger Things: Escape the Dark* room, participants embark on a search-and-rescue mission for three missing individuals. Meanwhile, the *Squid Game: Survive the Trials* room allows guests to participate in five interactive games, including the iconic *Red Light, Green Light* challenge. Each experience lasts approximately one hour.
Dining and Entertainment Options Await
Upon entering Netflix House, guests are greeted by a grand staircase adorned with artwork from various shows, ideal for photo opportunities. Ascending the stairs leads to the main area, which is dominated by Netflix Bites, a full-service bar and restaurant. The menu features dishes inspired by popular Netflix titles, such as the *Red Bite* and *Green Bite* chicken bites, and *Emily’s Italian Fling Salad* inspired by *Emily in Paris*. Another highlight is the *Huntr/x Power Up Ssam*, a grilled pork dish that taps into the K-Pop phenomenon.
Additionally, the venue offers a dedicated space called Netflix RePLAY, which features arcade games themed around Netflix properties. Visitors can enjoy interactive games like a *Squid Game*-inspired tug of war and a *Bridgerton*-themed ball maze, along with the *Floor Is Lava* game.
For those looking to take home a piece of the experience, a gift shop stocks an array of merchandise, including T-shirts, cups, keychains, and replica props from Netflix’s most popular shows.
As Netflix continues to expand its reach, there are speculations that the venue could soon incorporate characters from other notable franchises, especially with the potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Pictures. This could introduce elements from well-known properties such as DC Comics and *Casablanca*, enhancing the offerings at Netflix House in the years to come.
