Not to worry you but to encourage you to take precaution in your own life,” she stated. Frankel explained that she had made a conscious decision to be proactive about her health, including undergoing a series of blood tests.

During her assessments, she noted that her kidney function was consistently low. Today, following a visit to a kidney specialist, she received the definitive diagnosis. “He said to me, ‘You have stage 2 chronic kidney disease,’” she recounted, highlighting the importance of taking symptoms seriously.

The diagnosis may have roots in a variety of factors, including previous illnesses and hydration issues. Frankel shared that her doctor advised her that “water was her medicine,” recommending a daily intake of approximately 1.5 liters. Additionally, she was cautioned to avoid certain foods and medications, such as turmeric and ibuprofen, which could exacerbate her condition.
