Police Seek Public’s Help to Catch Stabbing Suspect in Waterbury
URGENT UPDATE: Police in Waterbury, Connecticut, are actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect connected to a stabbing incident that occurred earlier this month. The incident took place on October 18, 2023, at approximately 9:45 a.m. at 246 Walnut Street, where officers found a 31-year-old male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Authorities report that the victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. This incident has raised alarm in the community, prompting the Waterbury Police Department to intensify their search for the suspect identified as Harlem Arquel Espinosa-Ramos, a 20-year-old resident of Waterbury.
Espinosa-Ramos is wanted on an active arrest warrant, facing serious charges including criminal attempt at murder and first-degree assault. The police are urging anyone with information regarding Espinosa-Ramos’s whereabouts to step forward.
“Your help is crucial in ensuring community safety,” a police spokesperson stated. “We need the public’s eyes and ears to bring this suspect into custody.”
