U.S. Marines Under Fire in Port-au-Prince Gang Shootout
URGENT UPDATE: U.S. Marines stationed for embassy security in Port-au-Prince, Haiti were fired upon by suspected gang members on November 13, resulting in a brief shootout. This alarming incident was first reported by The Washington Post and confirmed by Marine Corps spokesperson Capt. Steven Keenan.
In an official statement sent to The Epoch Times on Saturday evening, Capt. Keenan stated, “I can confirm that Marines supporting embassy security operations were fired upon by suspected gang members in Port-au-Prince and the Marines returned fire on the evening of 13 Nov.
