Pistons Win 10th Straight as Duren Returns with 31 Points
BREAKING: The Detroit Pistons have secured their 10th consecutive victory, defeating the struggling Indiana Pacers 127-112 on November 17, 2025. Jalen Duren made a spectacular return from an ankle injury, scoring 31 points to power his team to this remarkable achievement.
Despite missing key players like Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris, and Ausar Thompson, Detroit’s depth shone through as they celebrated their longest winning streak since the 2007-08 season. The Pistons now stand as the first team in the Eastern Conference to reach 12 wins, showcasing their resilience and determination.
The Pacers, on the other hand, remain mired in an eight-game losing streak, now holding a dismal record of 1-13. This marks their longest skid since the 2014-15 season, and the frustration is palpable among fans and players alike.
Duren was not alone in the scoring frenzy; teammate Daniss Jenkins contributed 26 points, while Javonte Green added 20 points off the bench. Ten players in total scored for the Pistons, with five reaching double figures, highlighting their offensive depth. The Pacers managed to keep pace early, with Pascal Siakam leading their charge with 29 points and Benedict Mathurin adding 25 points.
The game shifted momentum decisively in the second quarter when the Pistons launched a stunning 20-4 run, extending their lead to 21 points. Duren was pivotal during this stretch, scoring eight points that contributed to a commanding 46-27 lead. Although the Pacers fought back with a strong second-half performance, outscoring the Pistons 56-55, it was not enough to overcome Detroit’s initial lead.
As the Pistons bask in their victory, they will host the Charlotte Hornets on November 19. Meanwhile, the Pacers are set to visit the Atlanta Hawks on November 18, desperately seeking to end their losing streak.
This game marks a significant moment for the Pistons, showcasing their potential and resilience in the face of adversity. As fans celebrate this impressive win, all eyes will be on how both teams perform in their upcoming matches.
