The Tompkins County real estate market experienced a notable uptick from December 1 to December 7, 2023, with a total of 19 home sales recorded during this period. The median sale price for the week was set at $368,000, marked by a 1,744-square-foot home located on Leisure Lane in Dryden.

Among the transactions, Brian Maloney and Peri Maloney purchased a property at 2083 W. Danby Road for $330,000. This home spans 1,420 square feet and features three bedrooms and one bathroom, translating to a price of $232 per square foot. Another significant sale was recorded at 5 Watros Road where Adam Monzella acquired the 1,636-square-foot residence for $329,000, or $201 per square foot.

A sale of particular interest occurred at 10 Bailey Drive, where Jeffrey Bernhardt and Renee Nash secured the property for $199,000. This 1,352-square-foot home also includes three bedrooms.

The most expensive property sold during this week was located at 4 W. Malloryville Road, purchased by Alexandra Griffin for $425,000. This home features 1,703 square feet of living space and three bedrooms, resulting in a price of $250 per square foot.

In Groton, Lucas Warner sold 395 Clark Street Extension for $498,000. This residence, encompassing 1,685 square feet, includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a price per square foot of $296.

Further notable transactions included:
109 Hyers St. sold for $250,000 to Michele Floyd LT and Michele Floyd, measuring 1,080 square feet.
160 King Road E., acquired by Ryan Emerson for $325,000, is 1,566 square feet with three bedrooms.
321 Strawberry Hill Circle, purchased by Norman Culver and Olivia Culver for $457,500, offers 1,560 square feet of space.

The week also saw transactions in other parts of Tompkins County, with properties changing hands in areas such as Newfield and Ulysses. For instance, Kristina Cook sold 385 Taggart Road for $30,000, a notable price given the 1,120-square-foot size of the home.
