TSA Wealth Management Sells Over 21,000 Shares of iShares ETF

TSA Wealth Management LLC has significantly reduced its stake in the iShares U.S. Technology ETF (NYSEARCA:IYW), selling 21,025 shares during the third quarter of 2023. This move represents a 52.2% decrease in their holdings, bringing the total number of shares owned to 19,253. Following this transaction, the iShares U.S. Technology ETF now constitutes approximately 1.3% of TSA Wealth Management’s portfolio, ranking as the firm’s 20th largest investment. As of the end of September, the value of TSA’s holdings in this exchange-traded fund was approximately $3.77 million.

Several other institutional investors have also adjusted their positions in the iShares U.S. Technology ETF recently. Notably, AQR Capital Management LLC increased its stake by 58.1% during the first quarter, acquiring an additional 3,699 shares to reach a total of 10,066 shares, valued at around $1.41 million. Similarly, D.A. Davidson & CO. raised its holdings by 4.3% in the second quarter, now owning 11,358 shares worth approximately $1.97 million after adding 469 shares.

Other firms have made noteworthy investments as well. Rehmann Capital Advisory Group purchased a new stake in the ETF valued at $228,000, while Freedom Investment Management Inc. grew its position by 13.2%, bringing its total to 3,210 shares valued at around $556,000. Focus Partners Advisor Solutions LLC also reported an impressive increase of 70.7% in its holdings, now owning 6,054 shares worth approximately $1.05 million.

As of the latest trading session, the iShares U.S. Technology ETF has seen a modest increase of 0.7%, opening at $192.93 on Friday. The ETF has a market capitalization of $20.19 billion, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 34.95 and a beta of 1.23. Over the past year, the ETF has fluctuated between a low of $117.55 and a high of $211.98.
