BABYMONSTER’s “Really Like You” Hits 100 Million Views on YouTube
BABYMONSTER has achieved a significant milestone as their music video for “Really Like You” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. This achievement was confirmed by YG Entertainment on March 17, 2023, noting that the video reached this landmark around 21:13 KST the day before. The track is part of BABYMONSTER’s first full album, DRIP, which was released on January 17, 2023.
“Really Like You” showcases a blend of 90s hip-hop and R&B elements, marked by its groovy sound. The combination of heavy rapping and stylish vocals over a rhythmic beat enhances the song’s appeal. The lyrics express heartfelt emotions, resonating with listeners and creating a sense of excitement. The music video, set in a school environment, features natural directing that highlights the members’ vibrant visuals and expressive performances, contributing to a lively atmosphere.
The storyline, infused with relatable emotions, is complemented by sophisticated color schemes and playful effects, which have garnered praise from viewers. This success cements BABYMONSTER’s reputation as one of the leading groups in the contemporary music scene, often referred to as the next-generation “YouTube queens.”
With the addition of “Really Like You,” the group now has a total of 14 videos that have exceeded 100 million views. Since the release of their second mini-album, [WE GO UP], on February 10, 2023, their YouTube subscriber count has surged to 10.5 million, with overall views reaching 6.3 billion.
In a demonstration of their growing popularity, BABYMONSTER successfully launched their fan concert tour, BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] ASIA FAN CONCERT 2025-26, over two days from March 15 to 16, 2023, in Chiba, Japan. The tour will cover six cities and include a total of 12 shows.
Capitalizing on their current momentum, the group plans to release the music video for “PSYCHO,” another track from their second mini-album, at midnight on March 19, 2023. This upcoming release is expected to further enhance their global presence and engage their rapidly expanding fan base.
