Puth will perform alongside a host of notable artists, including Brazilian singer Anitta, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and other prominent figures such as Seu Jorge, Gilberto Gil, and Gaby Amarantos. The festival is set to amplify the voices of indigenous peoples and local communities, emphasizing the critical importance of their role in preserving the Amazon.
In a statement regarding his participation, Puth expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m honored to be part of such an important cause for our planet and can’t wait to see you on November 1st.” The festival will be co-hosted by popular Brazilian personalities including Regina Casé, Mel Fronckowiak, and Hugo Gloss, with special appearances by actors Rodrigo Santoro and Estêvão Ciavatta.
The festival will feature a pre-show performance by Brazilian artist Vivi Batidão, and additional presenters will include Alane Dias, Ricardinho, and Luiza Zveiter. The event aims to be a zero-carbon footprint festival, aligning with Global Citizen’s broader campaign to protect the Amazon.
Viewers can tune in live on November 1 at 6 p.m. ET, with comprehensive coverage available on Globo throughout Brazil. The festival not only seeks to entertain but also serves as a critical platform for raising funds and awareness for environmental issues that affect the Amazon and its inhabitants.

With performers like Puth, who recently celebrated personal milestones including an upcoming fatherhood, the festival promises to be a significant occasion, marrying entertainment with impactful activism.
