Community Mourns the Loss of Zleophie Sanford, 2025
Zleophie Sanford, a beloved matriarch and pillar of her community, passed away on November 4, 2025. She is remembered for her unwavering support and dedication to her family, leaving behind her three sons, Laurence Todd, James Sanford, and Michael Sanford, as well as two daughters, Kim Sanford and Sharon Sanford. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery, located at 2400 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Altadena, CA. This gathering will provide an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects and celebrate Zleophie’s life.
Zleophie was known for her warmth and generosity, qualities that endeared her to many in her community. Friends and family recall her as a source of strength and wisdom. Her influence extended beyond her family; she actively participated in local events and was a familiar face at community gatherings.
Her passing has left a significant void among those who knew her. Many have expressed their sorrow and shared memories of the profound impact she had on their lives. The outpouring of affection serves as a testament to the legacy she leaves behind.
For those wishing to honor Zleophie’s memory, arrangements have been made for flowers, tree planting, and meal deliveries. These gestures reflect the love and appreciation her family and friends hold for her.
As the community prepares to say goodbye, Zleophie Sanford’s spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
