By fourteen, he was already performing with the award-winning bluegrass group, The Sunset Harmony Boys. His career took a significant turn in the early 1970s when he became a founding member of the acoustic group Trinity, contributing to the development of progressive country music by blending traditional sounds with the innovative influences of the West Coast.

As a solo artist and bandleader, Rasor continued to shape the music scene, forming the band Over The Edge in the late 1980s. His live album, recorded at Fort Worth’s iconic Caravan of Dreams, showcases his talent and has been well received by audiences. Over the years, he has gained recognition for his songwriting and musicianship, becoming a prominent figure for independent singer-songwriters.

Rasor has also made significant contributions to the music community through his annual Raz On The Braz Music Festival, a three-day event that highlights emerging talent. In addition to performing, he has been the weekly anchor for Raz n Freindz Swappin’ Songs for the past fifteen years, further illustrating his dedication to fostering music culture in Fort Worth.
