Jenny McCarthy Reveals Creative Solutions for Donnie Wahlberg’s Snoring
Jenny McCarthy has opened up about her husband Donnie Wahlberg’s snoring, which she describes as a significant challenge in their marriage. During an appearance on “Live” with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, McCarthy affectionately shared how she manages to cope with Wahlberg’s nighttime noises while still feeling committed to their relationship.
The couple, who have been married for over nine years, demonstrate a strong bond despite the challenges that arise. McCarthy stated, “He is the nicest human being you’ll ever meet,” highlighting Wahlberg’s character and the affection they share. She noted that his snoring began during a period when she was experiencing symptoms of perimenopause, which already disrupted her sleep patterns.
To combat the issue, McCarthy employs a pair of large noise-cancelling headphones and an impressive arrangement of pillows that she humorously refers to as the “Great Wall of China.” This strategy has transformed their bedroom into a soundproof haven for her. “I built in these insulations that I think really helped me get through the night,” she explained, adding that she listens to ocean waves through her headphones.
In a light-hearted moment, McCarthy demonstrated her approach to dealing with Wahlberg’s snoring by mimicking a “love tap” to encourage him to change positions. She mentioned that she is careful not to disturb their five shih tzus, who also share their bed, adding another layer to their nightly routine.
Wahlberg and McCarthy have both been open about their past experiences with relationships, having been married before. In an earlier interview with Fox News Digital, Wahlberg emphasized the importance of therapy in strengthening their bond. “We did a lot of individual therapy and when we got together we decided, let’s do some together,” he explained.
Their commitment to prioritizing their relationship is evident. Wahlberg noted, “In any relationship, you have to put the relationship first.” The couple’s shared faith also plays a crucial role in their partnership, providing a solid foundation for their life together.
Since their relationship began in July 2013, McCarthy and Wahlberg have cultivated a unique routine, even when apart due to work commitments. Wahlberg, who stars in “Blue Bloods,” mentioned in a recent conversation with Drew Barrymore that they often sleep together over FaceTime when separated by distance. “We now have the luxury of being able to sleep together when we’re apart,” he said, further illustrating their deep connection.
In summary, Jenny McCarthy’s innovative solutions to managing Donnie Wahlberg’s snoring reflect their strong relationship and commitment to each other, even in the face of challenges. Their willingness to work together and prioritize their bond showcases a modern approach to marriage that resonates with many couples today.
