Mastering the Building a Library Quest in ARC Raiders
Completing the “Building a Library” quest in ARC Raiders presents a unique challenge that intertwines exploration, potential player-versus-player (PvP) encounters, and survival strategy. Located in the fictional setting of Buried City, players must navigate not only the environment but also the interactions with fellow players, which can often lead to conflict.
Steps to Complete the Quest
To successfully complete the “Building a Library” quest, players must locate three specific books and safely extract them from the area. The books are categorized into three genres: romance, adventure, and detective. Each book is found on different floors of the library, and players must collect all three in a single round to progress.
The first book, the romance novel, is situated on the first floor of the library, found on a small bookshelf near the eastern windows. Nearby are two larger, empty bookshelves, which can provide a visual marker for players. To collect the book, players need to interact with the small shelf, causing the book to drop into their inventory.
Next, the adventure book can be found at the top of the stairs leading to the second floor, located north of the romance book. On the eastern side of this upper level, players will discover another small shelf containing the adventure book.
Lastly, the detective book is positioned along the western wall of the library, close to a large open window that offers a view of the sands outside. This book is nestled between two larger bookshelves, both of which are only partially filled with other titles.
Once all three books have been collected, players must extract from the library while ensuring they have the books in their inventory. To do this successfully, players will need either three Safe Pockets or must take a raider hatch or one of the trains back to Speranza. It is important to note that players must extract all three books simultaneously to complete the quest.
Potential Challenges and Strategy
Players should be prepared for possible PvP encounters during their quest. The chaotic nature of Buried City means that ambushes and conflicts can occur at any moment, whether in the library itself or during the extraction process. For instance, one player reported being ambushed near the extraction point but managed to escape, thanks to the assistance of another friendly raider.
To enhance the chances of completing the quest successfully, forming alliances with other players could be advantageous. This social strategy can provide protection and support, making the task of collecting the three books less stressful. Engaging with fellow players in a friendly manner can lead to a more enjoyable experience and potentially safer extractions.
In summary, the “Building a Library” quest in ARC Raiders requires players to exhibit both strategic thinking and social interaction skills. With its blend of exploration and potential conflict, the quest offers a dynamic and engaging challenge for participants.
