McCarter Theatre Revives A Christmas Carol for Holiday Magic

McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey, is set to enchant audiences with its much-anticipated production of A Christmas Carol, running from December 9 to December 28, 2023. This beloved adaptation, known for its heartwarming themes of generosity and community spirit, features acclaimed actor Cameron Knight in the iconic role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen expressed her enthusiasm for Knight’s portrayal, noting, “Scrooge is a character of Shakespearean magnitude. Cameron’s deep sense of humanity and love of language brings something truly special to this production.” Knight is not only a celebrated actor but also serves as the Head of the Acting Program at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. His impressive resume includes performances at various prestigious venues, including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.
