The annual RISE Kids’ Day is set to return on February 21, 2026, at Vestavia Hills High School, promising a delightful experience for children and families. Scheduled from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the school’s competition gym, the event will feature over 60 beloved Disney characters and superheroes, inviting young attendees to engage in a morning filled with joy and creativity.

This year’s Character Meet & Greet Party encourages children to dress in their favorite costumes, take photographs, and interact with a diverse array of costumed figures. In addition to character encounters, a Touch-A-Truck experience will be available outside the gym, allowing children to explore various vehicles up close, enhancing the fun and learning opportunities.

RISE, a student-led organization at Vestavia Hills High School, organizes this event to support the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at the UAB O’Neal Cancer Center. The initiative reflects the group’s commitment to fostering community connections, engaging students, and providing meaningful service to others.

Tickets for RISE Kids’ Day are priced at $15 per child, while adults can attend free of charge. Those interested can purchase tickets through the official site at gofan.co/event/4947001.

As RISE Kids’ Day approaches, excitement builds for what promises to be a memorable event, all while contributing to a significant cause. The combination of entertainment and community support underscores the impact that such initiatives can have on both participants and beneficiaries.
