On December 3, 2023, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne paid heartfelt tributes to the late Ozzy Osbourne on what would have been his 77th birthday. The commemorations took place on social media, showcasing the deep love and respect the Osbourne family holds for the rock legend, who passed away earlier this year.

Sharon Osbourne, aged 73, shared a poignant video montage on her Instagram account. The clip opens with a touching tribute at Black Sabbath Bridge in Birmingham, England, where flowers spelling out “Happy birthday, Ozzy” adorn the site. This memorial serves as a reminder of Ozzy’s roots with his legendary band, Black Sabbath. The montage is set to his 1995 song “See You On the Other Side,” transitioning into cherished photographs capturing significant moments from Ozzy’s life. Sharon captioned the tribute, “My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.”

Kelly Osbourne, 41, also commemorated her father with a personal video montage the day prior, featuring images of her visit to the birthday memorial. She included nostalgic family photos and home videos of Ozzy, accompanied by his 2020 song “Ordinary Man,” featuring Elton John. In her emotional message, Kelly wrote, “Happy birthday daddy you most certainly did not die an ordinary man! Life without you is hard, but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy! I miss you more than anything in the world. I love you until eternity!”

On the same day, Kelly posted additional images of their time together when she was a child, expressing her longing and love with the caption, “Happy birthday I miss you daddy! 🎂 I love you more than life itself!”

The Osbourne family had announced Ozzy’s death earlier in the year, stating, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.” They confirmed he was surrounded by family and love at the time. The death certificate later revealed that Ozzy succumbed to cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and had been battling Parkinson’s disease.

During a November episode of the “Osbournes” podcast, Sharon spoke publicly about her husband’s passing for the first time. She revealed that King Charles III reached out personally to express his condolences. “Our king, he’s an amazing person,” she remarked. Sharon highlighted the significance of receiving a hand-delivered note from the king, which she described as a testament to his character, saying, “He took the time out of his day to write us… that says so much.”

Through these tributes, both Sharon and Kelly Osbourne have shown how Ozzy’s legacy continues to resonate within their lives, reflecting the impact he had not only as a musician but also as a beloved family member. The heartfelt remembrances on social media reveal the profound bond that remains, even in his absence.
