The vibrant community event, Art in the Square, is set to commence its 26th year with a special celebration known as the Strokes of Art in the Square on February 15, 2026. This year, the event proudly features Methodist Southlake Medical Center as the presenting sponsor. Residents are invited to gather at Southlake Town Hall from 16:00 to 17:30 for an afternoon filled with refreshments and a showcase of exceptional artwork.

The Strokes of Art in the Square will highlight the Northeast Tarrant County charities selected as the 2026 beneficiaries of the event, as presented by the Southlake Women’s Club Foundation. Artwork from talented artists across the United States will be displayed, providing a glimpse into the diverse creativity that will be featured at the main event, Art in the Square, scheduled for April 24-26, 2026.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the voting for the 2026 People’s Choice award. Votes can be cast either in person at Southlake Town Hall or conveniently through a QR code. The voting period will conclude on April 3, 2026, allowing the community to support their favorite featured artists.

This event is co-sponsored by the Southlake Arts Council, Apex Arts League, and the Southlake Women’s Club. The community is encouraged to save the dates and join in the festivities at the 26th annual Art in the Square, where they can truly “get wild about art.”

With its rich history and commitment to supporting local charities, Art in the Square continues to be a significant cultural event for the region, fostering community spirit and artistic expression.
