In a statement to Us Weekly, she detailed the incident, noting, “Since, I have hired a 24-hour armed security team and replaced the existing property surveillance systems. I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation.”

The response from law enforcement began when Stracke’s dog walker called 911 at approximately 11:54 a.m. local time, reporting an open window at the property. Police arrived to document the scene, but by that time, the burglars had already fled. Rick Hilton, Kathy Hilton’s husband, also reported a burglary at their home on the same day, although it remains unclear if any items were stolen from their residence.
