Austin Vintage Stores Launch Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt with Cash Prizes

Austin’s vintage shopping scene is taking a playful turn this February with a citywide Valentine’s Day-themed scavenger hunt. From February 9 to February 22, shoppers can explore 21 participating vintage stores in the quest to find two hidden ducks at each location. Organized by Side Kitsch Vintage and the Vintage Around Town Guide, the event aims to highlight the eclectic array of vintage and antique shops in Austin. The new 2024 guide, compiled by Devil’s Details Boutique and Charm School Vintage, categorizes stores by area, making it easier for participants to plan their shopping routes. Each store provides a brief description of its offerings, ensuring that vintage enthusiasts can navigate the hunt efficiently.

Participants who pick up a wristband at any of the listed stores will enjoy discounts at all participating locations. The primary challenge lies in locating the ducks. To win, participants must find ducks in at least ten stores, capturing selfies with each duck as proof. Sharing these photos on social media, tagging both the store and @vintagearoundtownguide, is essential. A direct message to the guide will help keep track of the entries. Completing the hunt by finding all ducks grants participants a second entry, enhancing their chances to win.
