Rescuers Save Injured Hiker from Mount Bierstadt in Colorado

A hiker was successfully rescued from Mount Bierstadt, a prominent peak in the Rocky Mountains, after sustaining a leg injury on March 11, 2024. The Alpine Rescue Team received an emergency call around 15:00 local time regarding the injured individual, who had fallen just below the summit of the mountain, located approximately 56 miles west of Denver near Guanella Pass.
