World War II Veteran Mino Ohye Celebrates 100 Years of Life
Mino Ohye, a World War II veteran from West Sacramento, California, recently celebrated his 100th birthday, reflecting on a remarkable life characterized by survival and sacrifice. Ohye’s journey began in Japan, where he joined the Japanese Imperial Army at the tender age of 13. Following Japan’s surrender in 1945, he was captured and endured years in a Siberian prison camp.
