Chaos Erupts Backstage as Andrei Arlovski Fights Four at Paul vs Joshua
Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski experienced a chaotic backstage altercation following the highly publicized boxing match between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua on December 20, 2025. The event, held at the Kaseya Center in Miami, featured a dramatic bout that saw Paul knocked out by Joshua, prompting a tumultuous scene beyond the arena’s main event.
Following the fight, a confrontation unfolded when Arlovski was inadvertently bumped into by a group that included Jack Doherty, a well-known YouTuber and streamer. The incident escalated quickly, with Arlovski responding by kicking Doherty, which ignited a brawl involving four individuals from Doherty’s party.
Doherty, who live-streamed his evening at the event, captured the incident on video, revealing the moments that led to the confrontation. The six-hour stream, posted on Parti.com, showcases the encounter, although it remains unclear whether the bump was intentional. Arlovski, known for his fighting prowess, initially handled two of Doherty’s friends who attempted to engage him physically.
As security personnel rushed to the scene, Arlovski focused his attention on the security guard, potentially perceiving him as the primary threat in the escalating situation. According to reports, the former UFC champion decisively floored one of the attackers and followed with a kick before confronting the last man standing in the group.
The altercation ultimately subsided as additional individuals intervened to defuse the tension. Witnesses noted that Arlovski displayed remarkable control during the confrontational moments, demonstrating why he is respected in the combat sports community.
Arlovski’s Recent Career Milestones
The backstage incident comes on the heels of Arlovski’s impressive performance in various combat sports since leaving the UFC over a year ago. He has secured three victories across different disciplines, including a notable win at Dirty Boxing 1, where Jon Jones was in attendance. Following that, Arlovski transitioned to bare-knuckle boxing, achieving another victory by knockout.
Most recently, in November, he knocked out a contestant from the reality show *Too Hot to Handle* during an event organized by Misfits Boxing. Now, at age 46, Arlovski is gearing up for a significant challenge as he prepares to face Ben Rothwell for the BKFC heavyweight title at Knuckle Mania on February 7, 2026.
Arlovski’s resilience and adaptability in the face of competition highlight his enduring legacy in the world of combat sports. The recent backstage incident, while chaotic, adds another chapter to his storied career, showcasing the unpredictable nature of the fight world.
