Ariel Winter Ditches Underwear, Defends Against Online Trolls
UPDATE: Actress Ariel Winter just captivated fans with a daring video where she flaunted her figure in cut-out pants and a tiny bra, while also addressing the harsh realities of online bullying. Posted just hours ago, the clip showcases Winter performing a rendition of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid in an empty theatre, leaving her followers in awe of her stunning voice.
In the video, Ariel, 27, humorously opens with, “Hey MTV, welcome to my crib…” as she displays her toned abdomen and striking confidence. Her Modern Family co-star, Rico Rodriguez, who played Manny Delgado, joined in the excitement, commenting, “Need a full season of this!”
But beyond the glamour, Ariel has bravely spoken out against the online trolls who criticize her body. In an emotional Instagram post, she urged, “Stop the hate,” and emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, stating, “Every time someone bullies me online, it gives me a chance to re-emphasize how important self-acceptance is.”
Ariel also revealed the deep-seated trauma she carries from her experiences with “male predators” starting at the age of 12. Reflecting on her early acting career, she stated, “I was getting inappropriate messages from older men, and it caused trauma.” This significant admission sheds light on the darker side of growing up in Hollywood.
Now, she is taking a stand against online sexual predators through her work with the organization SOSA (Safe From Online Sex Abuse). Ariel participates in undercover operations aimed at luring internet predators, stating, “It’s nerve-racking. We build decoy rooms in case the [perp] wants to see our rooms.”
While she finds this mission rewarding, Ariel admits it often triggers past traumas. “I didn’t realize it would bring up some of the things past traumas for me that it did,” she shared, highlighting the emotional toll of her advocacy.
Ariel Winter’s journey from a beloved sitcom star to a powerful advocate against online abuse resonates deeply, making her story one that many can relate to. As the discussion about body image and online safety continues to gain traction, her boldness in addressing these issues is more urgent than ever.
Stay tuned for more updates on Ariel Winter as she continues to inspire and challenge societal norms, while confronting the very real dangers of online harassment.
