Boston Faces Dangerous Winds Up to 40 mph Today, Stay Safe!
URGENT UPDATE: Boston is bracing for a blustery day as the National Weather Service warns of wind gusts reaching up to 40 mph this afternoon. With a high of 53 degrees, residents should prepare for slippery conditions due to morning rain and light sleet, particularly on wet leaves, according to Boston 25 News.
The winds, currently gusting between 30 and 38 mph, are creating hazardous conditions in the area. A brief rain shower or light snow is possible, though impacts are expected to be minor. As the day unfolds, the city will see mostly sunny skies, but the chilly temperatures will persist.
Looking ahead, Boston’s weather will calm down as the week progresses, with high temperatures in the 40s and clear, cold evenings dipping into the low 30s. Monday will bring mostly sunny conditions, but winds are still expected to be strong.
Residents should remain alert for a new weather system moving in later this week. There is a 60% chance of rain on Friday, decreasing to 50% by Friday evening. Saturday could see scattered showers as skies remain partly sunny, marking a significant change from the dry and windy conditions earlier in the week.
Stay safe and take precautions against the windy weather today!
