Broadway Stars Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch Hit Philly
BREAKING: Two acclaimed Broadway stars, Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch, are set to ignite Philadelphia with their captivating performances on November 17 and 18, 2023. The duo will grace the stage at the Broadway Cabaret located in the Rittenhouse Grill at the Warwick Hotel, promising an unforgettable night of showtunes and entertainment.
This much-anticipated event is part of the venue’s popular “Dinner and a Show” series, offering patrons a unique blend of fine dining and live music. The chemistry between Ebersole and Stritch is electric, with Stritch stating, “We have such a great connection. It’s almost like we’re sharing a brain.” The pair’s history stems from their collaboration on the Broadway revival of 42nd Street in 2001, making this performance a reunion of sorts.
Ebersole, a two-time Tony Award winner, is also making waves with her upcoming role in Bradley Cooper’s film, “Is This Thing On?,” set to hit theaters this December. Reflecting on her experience with Cooper, she remarked, “It was an amazing experience. Bradley is just a man of great vision and great passion.”
Concertgoers can expect an eclectic mix of American popular standards and classic Broadway hits. Stritch notes the performance will feature songs from legendary composers Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rogers, infused with a jazz twist. Ebersole adds, “It’s kind of like we’re inviting you into our living room for cocktails and fun.”
This exclusive engagement is not just a show; it’s an invitation to experience the intimacy of Broadway right in the heart of Philadelphia. Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to see two of Broadway’s brightest stars live.
