URGENT UPDATE: The Buffalo Bills are urgently recruiting volunteers to shovel snow at Highmark Stadium this Saturday ahead of their game against the New York Jets on January 4. As winter weather approaches, interested volunteers must pre-register via a provided Google Docs link to be considered for this critical task.

Volunteers, who must be 18 and older, will earn $20 per hour and will be provided with food and hot beverages to keep them warm during this important effort. Those who complete the sign-up form will be contacted by ABM management within 24 hours to receive additional details and work schedules based on their availability.

It’s vital to note that walk-up volunteers who have not pre-registered will not be guaranteed work, emphasizing the urgency of securing a spot in advance. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the harsh winter conditions, ensuring they wear gloves, scarves, hats, coats, and boots.

To enhance support for the volunteers preparing the stadium for this pivotal game, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield will provide the first 500 shovelers with branded winter gloves, adding an extra layer of motivation. Additionally, Bud Light and the Bills will be distributing winter hats to select volunteers who are 21 and older.

While volunteers may bring their own shovels, the Bills, along with ABM and Bud Light, will supply the necessary equipment to ensure a smooth operation. For any inquiries, potential volunteers can direct their questions to [email protected].

This call for volunteers not only highlights the community spirit of Buffalo but also underscores the Bills’ commitment to ensuring that the stadium is ready for fans as the regular season reaches its climax. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this exciting event—register now and help clear the way for game day!
