Man Arrested After Shotgun Fired from Largo Apartment Window

URGENT UPDATE: A man has been arrested following a startling shooting incident at an apartment complex in Largo, Florida. At approximately 6:28 p.m. on March 11, 2026, police responded to reports of gunfire coming from an apartment on Foxbridge Circle North. Although no injuries were reported, the situation has raised significant concerns among residents.

Detectives with the Largo Police Department confirmed that an individual inside the apartment fired a shotgun out of a bathroom window. Fortunately, the shots were not directed at anyone specific, and authorities have stated there is currently no ongoing threat to the public.

Officers secured the scene and conducted a thorough search of the apartment where the gunfire originated. During this investigation, they discovered five long guns and multiple rounds of ammunition, both used and unused, within the residence.

While no arrests have been made directly related to the shooting, Ryan Jeffrey Devore, 32, was arrested for a misdemeanor violation of an injunction for protection. According to police reports, Devore was present in the apartment when the shotgun was discharged. He admitted to witnessing the incident while standing behind the shooter.

Devore was taken into custody around 7:00 p.m. and transported to the Pinellas County Jail. His arrest stems from a prior injunction that prohibits him from being in possession of firearms or being around them.

Authorities reiterated that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and they are working closely with assisting agencies, including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Pinellas Park Police Department, and Clearwater Police Department.
