Naperville Police Make Multiple Arrests Over January Weekend

A 22-year-old man from Shorewood was taken into custody on January 20 at 4:27 p.m. for driving under the influence of alcohol and other related offenses at the police station located at 1350 Aurora Ave. This incident marks a critical moment as local authorities address the dangers of impaired driving in the community.

On the same day, at 7:14 p.m., a 66-year-old woman from Naperville was arrested on a warrant in the 200 block of South Main Street. Shortly after, at 11:15 p.m., a 42-year-old woman from Naperville was apprehended on two warrants in the 1600 block of Brookdale Road, indicating a troubling trend of repeat offenders.

The following day, on January 21, police arrested a 61-year-old woman from Naperville at 4:38 p.m. for failure to yield while turning left, compounded by driving under the influence, at the intersection of West Franklin Avenue and North Mill Street. Later that evening, at 8:59 p.m., a 25-year-old man from Naperville was arrested for driving on a revoked license and without insurance at Iroquois Avenue and East Ogden Avenue.

In a concerning escalation, a 33-year-old man from Bolingbrook was arrested at 11:16 p.m. on January 21 for similar charges of driving on a revoked license and without insurance at South Route 59 and Ogden Avenue.

The arrests continued into January 22, where at 1:10 a.m., a 23-year-old man from Aurora was detained for disobeying a stop sign, child abandonment, and driving on a revoked license at North Route 59 and West Diehl Road.

In another significant arrest, at 2:21 a.m., a 26-year-old woman from Chicago faced charges for driving under the influence and without a valid license in the 1000 block of West Ogden Avenue.

Lastly, a 33-year-old man from Bolingbrook was arrested at 5:38 p.m. on January 22 for three counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of battery at the police station, emphasizing the ongoing battle against public disturbances. A 22-year-old man from Aurora was also taken into custody on a warrant at 9:46 p.m. in the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive.
