Pop Star Renee Rapp Delivers Fiery Rant Against Trump, ICE
UPDATE: Pop star Renee Rapp launched a fiery tirade against President Donald Trump and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during her concert at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, on Monday night. The singer, known for her role in “Mean Girls,” used her platform to openly criticize the Trump administration’s controversial immigration policies, marking a significant moment in her ongoing “Bite Me” tour.
During her performance, Rapp did not hold back, stating, “So let’s just make it f–king abundantly f–king clear, f–k ICE, f–k the administration and f–k Trump.” Her comments came amidst the backdrop of increasing tensions regarding ICE operations in Portland, which Rapp described as a “warzone.” This performance follows a series of protests against the federal agency’s presence in various U.S. cities, including Chicago and Los Angeles, as authorized by Trump in an effort to combat crime.
Rapp’s remarks resonated with many in the crowd, as she expressed her gratitude to Portland for hosting her concert, saying, “You are very gracious hosts, thank you for having us.” The singer, 25, has been vocal about her disdain for Trump, previously labeling him “a f–king joke” on social media and criticizing his address to Congress as “obscene.”
The emotional weight of her performance highlights the ongoing national debate over immigration policies and their impact on communities across the country. Rapp is currently touring to promote her latest album, “Bite Me,” released in August, and is set to conclude her nationwide trek on October 29, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As the concert drew significant media attention, Rapp’s bold stance may inspire further discussions about the intersections of art, activism, and political discourse. With the current climate of political tension, her words are likely to echo well beyond the stage, igniting conversations about the role of artists in shaping societal narratives.
Stay tuned for more updates on Rapp’s tour and her impact on the ongoing discourse surrounding immigration and political accountability.
