SAGE Center Earns Impact Award for Morrow County Harvest Festival

UPDATE: The SAGE Center & Event Center in Boardman has just been awarded the prestigious Impact Award for its role in the annual Morrow County Harvest Festival. This honor was announced during a recent conference hosted by the Oregon Festivals & Events Association from February 26-28 in Seaside, highlighting the festival’s significant impact on the community.

This award recognizes the festival’s essential role in uniting families, businesses, and organizations each fall, showcasing the community spirit that defines Morrow County. The SAGE Center’s Interim Manager Angel Aguilar and Facility and Event Coordinator Emilio Jaimez represented the center, joining fellow event professionals and community leaders to celebrate excellence in local events.

In addition to the Impact Award, the SAGE Center has also clinched the Fundraising Event of the Year Award for the Rebuilding Hope Dinner & Auction, an event that supports the Boardman Food Pantry. This recognition underscores the event’s dedication to aiding local families in need.

The conference also celebrated Amazon as the Sponsor of the Year, recognizing its generous financial contributions and unwavering support for the SAGE Center and the Boardman Food Pantry. Benjamin Harvey, Amazon’s community engagement coordinator, was commended for his leadership and commitment to enhancing community impact through this valuable partnership.
