1. **Living Water Church of the Nazarene**: Located at 1550 Market St., this shelter has a capacity for 28 adults. Check-in begins at 8 p.m., with on-site reservations accepted from 1-4 p.m.. Guests must vacate by 6:30 a.m. the following morning.

2. **Joan Kroc Center**: Situated at 1501 Imperial Ave., this facility can accommodate 61 adults and offers 11 additional beds for families with minor children or single women. Check-in starts at 4 p.m. and continues until full, with check-out at 5 a.m.

3. **Father Joe’s Villages Paul Mirabile Center**: Also on 1501 Imperial Ave., this shelter has space for 62 adults. Similar to the Kroc Center, check-in begins at 4 p.m. and runs until full, with a 5 a.m. check-out.

Individuals seeking shelter are encouraged to go directly to these locations, where beds will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The shelter program is activated when conditions reach a critical threshold: temperatures drop below 50 degrees with a 40% chance of rain, or when temperatures hit 45 degrees or lower, regardless of rain. Additionally, shelters are opened during exceptional weather, such as when over an inch of rain falls within 24 hours or sustained high winds occur.
