TCL Unveils X11L TV: Surprising Specs and Immediate Availability
UPDATE: TCL has just unveiled its flagship TV for 2026, the X11L, at CES 2026. UK buyers will be thrilled to hear that they can purchase this highly anticipated model, which features groundbreaking technology and stunning design.
Unlike many competitors embracing RGB Mini LED technology, the X11L sticks with Quantum Dot technology, a surprising choice that underscores TCL’s commitment to its QLED heritage. The company believes that QLED TVs offer superior performance, particularly with the introduction of its new Super QLED technology.
The X11L is available immediately in the US with prices starting at $7,000 for the 75-inch model, $8,000 for the 85-inch version, and a staggering $10,000 for the 98-inch model. UK pricing is still pending.
In a remarkable design twist, the X11L is incredibly slim at just two centimeters deep, making it a standout among premium TVs. The elegant dark metallic finish and ultra-slim bezel enhance its sophisticated appearance. A unique feature is the full-width integrated soundbar, developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, which adds both aesthetic appeal and exceptional audio quality.
TCL’s new Super QLED technology incorporates two major innovations: a new generation of Quantum Dots and an ultra-high color filter. This combination delivers a claimed peak brightness of 10,000 nits and an impressive 20,736 dimming zones, setting a new industry standard. These advancements aim to provide unmatched color accuracy, enhanced brightness, and superior light control.
The X11L’s picture quality is already garnering attention, with its ability to produce brilliant contrasts and maintain brightness even in challenging lighting conditions. The display promises to outperform numerous high-end models, including its own RGB Mini LED counterpart, with superior brightness and detail retention.
Audio quality has also seen significant upgrades. The integrated soundbar delivers rich, detailed sound, and with the option to add TCL’s new Z100-SW wireless subwoofer, users can elevate their home cinema experience to cinematic levels.
TCL’s latest announcement marks a pivotal moment in the TV market, as the X11L combines advanced technology with immediate availability, setting it apart from competitors. As consumers await further details on UK pricing, the buzz surrounding the X11L is palpable.
Stay tuned for more updates as TCL’s flagship model hits the market and continues to impress in hands-on reviews.
