Urgent: VFW Post 2422 Announces St. Patrick’s Day Dinner

UPDATE: The Coronado VFW Post 2422 is gearing up for its highly anticipated annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Saturday, March 14, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Chef Mike will serve a traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage feast, complete with potatoes, carrots, cabbage, rye bread, and dessert. Tickets are now available for $25 at the Post bartender, but hurry—only 85 dinners will be offered, and they’re selling fast!

This beloved community event not only brings people together but also supports local veterans. For those unable to dine in, to-go dinners can be picked up starting at 5:30 PM, ensuring everyone can enjoy this festive meal.

In addition to the dinner, the VFW Auxiliary is hosting its Annual Rummage Sale from March 26 to 28, with donations being accepted from March 23 to 25, each day from 8 AM to noon. This sale features unique and collectible items, including American patriotic décor, sporting goods, bikes, toys, and housewares.

IMPORTANT: The Auxiliary is asking for donations of items in good or like-new condition, specifically excluding clothing like athletic wear, t-shirts, and hats, as well as furniture and medical devices. Proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit veterans’ programs and local active-duty military personnel and their families.
