Ace Frehley, Founding Kiss Guitarist, Dies Following Fall
Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and founding member of the iconic glam rock band Kiss, passed away on October 16, 2023, due to blunt force injuries sustained in a fall. An autopsy conducted by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office in New Jersey confirmed that his death was accidental. Frehley’s agent reported that he died peacefully, surrounded by family, in Morristown, New Jersey.
Frehley, known for his flamboyant guitar playing and distinctive persona, was an integral part of Kiss, a band celebrated for its theatrical performances that featured fire, elaborate costumes, and signature face paint.
