UPDATE: Porta Blu, the acclaimed restaurant located at the Hotel Nia in Menlo Park, is set to host its final Passport Dinner of 2025, offering an exclusive culinary journey to Sicily on October 23, 2025. This one-night-only event promises an unforgettable dining experience, with reservations priced at $85.

The upcoming dinner will feature a delectable menu crafted by renowned chefs, including highlights such as Caponata Bruschetta with eggplant and olives, Arancini made with ragu, peas, and parmigiano reggiano, and Bucatini alla Siciliana topped with roasted tomatoes, anchovies, and caramelized shallots. To complete the meal, diners will enjoy a traditional Insalata Mista followed by a rich Zabaglione dessert paired with marsala wine.

Following this event, the Passport Dinners will take a hiatus during the November-December holiday months, with plans to resume in early 2026. This means food enthusiasts have a limited window to indulge in this unique Sicilian feast, making it a must-attend for local diners.

In addition to the Passport Dinner, Porta Blu is also celebrating the month of October with a special focus on pistachios. Guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails such as the Pistachio Espresso Martini and Pistachio Whiskey Sour, alongside savory dishes like Pistachio-Encrusted Lamb Chops and a delightful Pistachio Tiramisu.

Don’t miss out on this exciting culinary adventure. Reservations for the Passport Dinner can be made online at www.portablurestaurant.com. The restaurant is located at 200 Independence Drive, Menlo Park.

Act fast as seats are limited. This is a rare opportunity to experience the flavors of Sicily without leaving the Bay Area!
