Trump Congratulates Dodgers on World Series Win: “See You at the White House!”
BREAKING: President Donald Trump just congratulated the Los Angeles Dodgers on their thrilling 2025 World Series victory against the Toronto Blue Jays, declaring, “SEE YOU ALL AT THE WHITE HOUSE!!!” in a post on Truth Social.
The Dodgers clinched the championship in a nail-biting Game 7 on Saturday, achieving a 5-4 victory after 11 tense innings. This win marks the Dodgers’ second consecutive World Series title, following their triumph in 2024, making them the first team to secure back-to-back championships since the New York Yankees achieved the feat from 1998 to 2000.
In his enthusiastic message, Trump praised the Dodgers, stating, “Congratulations to the L.A. Dodgers, a game won by incredible CHAMPIONS!!! A lesser group of men would never have been able to win that game, or game 6, for that matter.” He also recognized the team’s ownership for their outstanding performance.
This celebration comes on the heels of Trump’s April visit with the Dodgers at the White House, where he made headlines with pointed comments about absent California Democratic senators, Gavin Newsom and Adam Schiff. Trump noted, “We have a couple senators here. I just don’t particularly like them, so I won’t introduce them,” highlighting the ongoing political tensions.
As the Dodgers prepare for their White House visit, this victory carries significant weight, especially given recent unrest in Los Angeles. In June, Trump deployed thousands of National Guard troops to the city amid escalating immigration protests. This move has faced legal challenges from Governor Newsom and California’s attorney general, who argue that the deployment was unlawful.
The Dodgers’ return to the White House symbolizes a revival of tradition, as many championship teams had previously opted out of visits during Trump’s first term. Following the NHL’s Florida Panthers, the Dodgers are the second champion sports team to visit since Trump resumed office.
As the excitement builds for the upcoming celebration at the White House, fans and followers eagerly anticipate how this championship win will further shape the Dodgers’ legacy and their relationship with the current administration.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as the Dodgers gear up for their White House visit!
