Billboards in Northern Kentucky Demand Release of Epstein Files
Anti-trafficking organization World Without Exploitation has launched a campaign in Northern Kentucky, placing multiple billboards that urge local leaders to release documents related to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. This initiative coincides with a nationwide push for transparency regarding the Epstein files, which include documents from the U.S. Department of Justice. The campaign is particularly focused on the impending vote regarding a discharge petition initiated by Congressman Thomas Massie to facilitate the release of these files.
The billboards, strategically positioned throughout Massie’s district—which encompasses Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties—feature a prominent message: “Courage is Contagious. Release ALL the Epstein Files.” One billboard is notably located near exit 4 off I-471, directing traffic toward Bellevue and Newport.
Lauren Hersh, the national director of World Without Exploitation, emphasized the significance of this effort, stating, “We’re calling on our members of Congress to please show the leadership, humanity, and courage the American people deserve.” Hersh highlighted that the focus should not be solely on high-profile names like Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, but rather on the survivors who have been profoundly affected by these events.
The organization aims to rally bipartisan support from elected officials, urging them to listen to constituents who are demanding both transparency and justice. “This isn’t about the bold names dominating headlines,” Hersh continued. “This moment belongs to the survivors, who are demanding justice and access to the information that’s haunted their lives for decades.”
In support of this initiative, Liz Stein, a survivor of Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes, voiced her perspective on the urgency of the situation. She remarked, “This is not a political issue, but rather a crime. Those of us directly impacted and harmed by the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell deserve justice and for the world to know our story.” Stein called for accountability and transparency, urging elected leaders to align with survivors in their quest for the complete release of the Epstein files.
As the campaign continues, World Without Exploitation is hopeful that their message will resonate with both the public and lawmakers, leading to meaningful action regarding the release of crucial documents. The organization’s commitment to advocating for survivors of trafficking and exploitation remains steadfast in this critical moment.
Engagement and support from the community are vital for independent local news coverage. Contributions enable ongoing reporting on significant issues impacting Northern Kentucky and its residents.
