Dr. Bradley Biggers Transitions to Hospitalist Role at BCMC

Bradley County Medical Center (BCMC) has announced that Dr. Bradley Biggers will transition to a dual role as hospitalist and family practice provider at the BCMC Rural Health Clinic starting on March 1, 2026. This move aims to enhance patient care and accessibility in the region.

Dr. Biggers has been part of BCMC since 2017 and will now make hospital rounds from Monday to Friday. In addition to his responsibilities as a hospitalist, he will return to his roots in family practice, seeing patients at the Rural Health Clinic from Monday to Thursday. This dual role is designed to improve continuity of care, as patients will have the same provider attending to them throughout their hospital stay.

The decision to expand Dr. Biggers’ role aligns with BCMC’s commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to the residents of Bradley County and the surrounding areas of Southeast Arkansas. Leslie Huitt, CEO and CFO of BCMC, expressed enthusiasm about this development, stating, “We are pleased to be able to expand primary care services with the addition of Dr. Biggers to the Rural Health Clinic.”

Dr. Biggers will join Dr. Gregory and a team of nurse practitioners at the clinic, further enhancing the primary care offerings in the community. Huitt emphasized that having Dr. Biggers care for hospital patients will significantly improve the overall quality of care, as it allows for more consistent and personalized treatment.
