Beloved Matriarch Tosca Pardini Passes Away Surrounded by Family
Tosca Theresa Pardini, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94. Surrounded by family, she took her final breath while the Frank Sinatra classic “Fly Me to the Moon” played softly in the background. On that somber day, a ray of sunshine illuminated her face, marking a poignant moment of farewell for those who loved her.
Born on May 7, 1931, in San Francisco, Tosca carried the spirit and warmth of the city throughout her life. She later settled in Ross, California, where she cultivated a family-centered life steeped in tradition and love. Tosca’s marriage to Sergio Pardini on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach, began a partnership that lasted an impressive sixty-one years. Together, they shared a deep commitment that shaped their lives and the lives of those around them.
Throughout her life, Tosca was known for her elegance, warmth, and quiet strength. She created a welcoming home that served as a gathering place for family and friends. Proud of her Italian heritage, she lovingly passed down cherished traditions, instilling a sense of belonging and identity in her family. Her kindness and grace resonated with everyone she encountered.
Tosca and Sergio enjoyed traveling the world together, making memories that enriched their lives. They were known for their dancing, which brought joy and energy to every social gathering. Tosca had a distinctive sense of style, often dressing to impress, and her flair for fashion added beauty to her surroundings. An exceptional cook, she was particularly renowned for her lasagna and lobster thermidor, delighting family and friends with her culinary skills.
In addition to her cooking, Tosca possessed a natural talent for interior design, creating comfortable and beautiful spaces wherever she went. Her presence was a source of inspiration and comfort, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario Pardini and his wife Theresa Pardini, Paul Pardini and his wife Laurie Pardini, and Laura Ferjanec and her husband Shawn Ferjanec. She cherished her role as Nonna, building strong, loving relationships with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff Bottom, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie Pardini, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike Horan, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick Baldwin, and Courtney Pardini. Tosca’s legacy continues through her treasured great-grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin. Each of them brought her immense joy.
The family expresses profound grief at the loss of Tosca, a matriarch who was adored and revered. Although she is no longer physically present, her spirit will continue to guide and comfort her loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato, California. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization dedicated to treating and preventing pediatric diseases. Tosca Pardini will be remembered as a true class act, and her memory will be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
