Long Beach Airport Hosts Festival of Flight on Oct. 25

UPDATE: The highly anticipated Festival of Flight is set to take place on October 25, 2023, at the Long Beach Airport. This free event is expected to draw around 15,000 aviation enthusiasts eager to see over two dozen historic aircraft up close.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Attendees will have the unique opportunity to view iconic planes, including the C-53 “D-Day Doll”, which played a vital role in the D-Day invasion, and the KC-46 Pegasus, a military refueling aircraft. The VX-31 Search and Rescue “Dust Devils”, a U.S. Navy helicopter team renowned for their life-saving missions, will also be on display.

WHEN: The festival kicks off at 9 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. on October 25.
