NYPD Launches Manhunt for Suspect in Bronx School Assault
UPDATE: The NYPD is urgently searching for a suspect involved in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl walking to school in the Bronx. The attack occurred in Seton Falls Park near East 233rd Street and Wilder Avenue just after 8:20 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities report that the girl was lured into a secluded area where the suspect ordered her to lift her shirt and performed a lewd act while watching her. Fortunately, she was not physically harmed, but the distressing incident has sent shockwaves through the community.
The suspect is described as a man aged between 30 and 40 years old, with a heavy build and a dark complexion. At the time of the assault, he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black boots. Police have increased their presence at the park as the manhunt continues.
