Plymouth Police Respond to 672 Incidents, 9 Arrests in One Week
URGENT UPDATE: The Plymouth Police Department has reported a staggering 672 incidents in just one week, from October 15 to October 21, 2023. This significant surge in activity highlights the ongoing challenges faced by local law enforcement.
During this period, officers made 9 arrests and filed 7 criminal complaints, indicating a busy week for police operations. The report, shared on the department’s official Facebook page, also detailed 27 motor vehicle accidents and 79 traffic stops, underscoring the pressing issue of road safety in the area.
In addition, officers responded to 34 house and building alarms, 20 disturbances, and 10 reports of suspicious activity. The data paints a vivid picture of the range of situations law enforcement is tackling daily.
Emergency calls also saw a notable increase, with the department recording 33 accidental 911 calls and conducting 41 medical, mental health, or welfare checks.
