Trump Official Exposed: Lutnick’s Lies About Epstein Revealed
UPDATE: New documents have exposed significant discrepancies in statements made by former Trump Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick regarding his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. This shocking revelation has prompted urgent calls for accountability from Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee.
Just days ago, the Department of Justice released approximately 3.5 million files related to Epstein, revealing that Lutnick’s claim of having no interactions with Epstein post-2005 is fundamentally false. In a statement, Garcia emphasized, “We have some serious questions,” underscoring the gravity of these findings.
In an October 2022 interview with the New York Post, Lutnick stated that he and his wife had visited Epstein’s New York residence in 2005 and then cut ties. However, the newly uncovered documents indicate Lutnick was actively arranging a visit to Epstein’s private island as late as 2012, with plans involving his wife and children. Furthermore, CBS News reports that Lutnick and Epstein were engaged in business dealings tied to a now-defunct advertising technology company called Adfin until at least 2014.
Emails released by the DOJ show that Lutnick and Epstein maintained contact beyond 2005, with correspondence about arranging meetings and social engagements as late as 2011. Notably, in 2017, Epstein pledged a donation of $50,000 to a dinner event honoring Lutnick, and Lutnick reached out to Epstein in 2018 regarding real estate matters.
In response to the revelations, a Commerce Department spokesperson criticized the media for what they described as an attempt to distract from the administration’s achievements, stating that Lutnick has “never been accused of wrongdoing.”
As these developments unfold, the implications for Lutnick and the broader political landscape are significant. With new evidence surfacing, further investigations could follow, raising questions about the integrity of officials previously linked to Epstein.
Watch for more updates as the situation develops, as the demand for transparency and accountability intensifies in the wake of these revelations.
