URGENT UPDATE: An Amber Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Nevaeh Hope Patton, who is missing from Mitchell County, North Carolina. The alert was activated just after 3:10 p.m. today, following her disappearance late Saturday night.

Nevaeh was last seen around 10 p.m. on Saturday. The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the details in a news release, emphasizing that she is considered an endangered child. Authorities first released information about her case around noon today, prompting immediate community concern.

Nevaeh is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. She has distinctive blonde hair with pink and red highlights and brown eyes. A photo released by officials shows Nevaeh holding a bird, highlighting her youthful spirit.

Her home is located along Harrell Hill Road, just west of Bakersville, the seat of Mitchell County. This region borders Tennessee and is situated about 60 miles northeast of Asheville, making the search area particularly challenging.
