Prince Andrew Allegedly Brought Prostitutes to Buckingham Palace
A recent report has revealed that Prince Andrew allegedly brought prostitutes into Buckingham Palace during his time as a member of the British royal family. Historian Andrew Lownie, author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” disclosed these claims during an interview with NewsNation correspondent Paula Froelich. He stated that the former Duke of York’s activities occurred regularly and that Queen Elizabeth II was aware of them.
According to Lownie, former palace employees have begun to share their experiences now that Andrew has lost his royal titles and protections. He reported that complaints were made by palace staff regarding Andrew’s behavior, but these concerns were allegedly ignored by those in authority. “They were told, ‘If you would like to go back on the beat Brixton, you have that choice, but otherwise you keep quiet,’” Lownie explained. He suggested that the Queen, being Andrew’s mother, chose to overlook his actions.
Lownie indicated that he has received increasing information from former palace staff who are now willing to speak out. “They are no longer scared to talk or come out and tell the world what really happened now that Andrew has been removed from power,” he asserted. This growing willingness to disclose information follows recent allegations against Andrew, which have severely impacted his reputation.
Allegations and Consequences for Prince Andrew
The scrutiny surrounding Prince Andrew intensified after he was stripped of his royal titles on November 3, 2022 by his brother, King Charles. This decision followed allegations that he had sexual encounters with women associated with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. One of Epstein’s accusers, Virginia Giuffre, claimed in her memoir “Nobody’s Girl” that she was coerced into sexual encounters with Andrew when she was just 17 years old.
In his official statement, Andrew announced he would relinquish his titles, stating, “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family.” His decision marked a significant step back from public life and royal duties.
Lownie also revealed details about Andrew’s past behavior, including an incident where he allegedly ordered as many as 40 prostitutes to his hotel in Thailand, showcasing a pattern of questionable conduct. Such revelations have drawn considerable media attention and scrutiny, leading to a broader discussion about the conduct of royal family members.
As this situation continues to unfold, Buckingham Palace has not publicly commented on the allegations made by Lownie or the former employees. The revelations have raised questions about the accountability of royal family members and the extent to which their actions are monitored or addressed.
The implications of these allegations extend beyond Andrew himself, potentially affecting the public perception of the monarchy as a whole. As more details emerge, it remains to be seen how the royal family will navigate this complex and troubling chapter in its history.
