Following the attack, Kendirci was immediately transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on October 25, 2023. The individual responsible for that incident, Dheerajsingh Goud, was accused of committing the act during a work-related prank at a factory in Hadapsar.

Another heartbreaking case occurred in 2017, when 17-year-old Wesner Moreira da Silva lost his life after colleagues at a car wash blasted a high-pressure air hose into his anus, resulting in fatal intestinal injuries. Thiago Giovanni Demarco Sena and Willian Enrique Larrea were later convicted of his rape and murder, receiving sentences of over 12 years in prison.
