Petit Soleil Cafe Moves to New Location on Imola Avenue
Petit Soleil, a beloved local cafe in Napa, is preparing to relocate to a new address at 1000 Imola Avenue. The cafe will take over the space previously occupied by Huckleberry’s Breakfast and Lunch, which is situated adjacent to the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines. This move comes as part of the cafe’s expansion efforts, transitioning from its long-standing location at 1408 Clay Street.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, owner Trena Madrigal is actively working on the new venue. The relocation aims to enhance visibility and accessibility for both hotel guests and local residents. Customers can anticipate the same menu offerings that have made Petit Soleil a staple in the community, including pancakes, omelets, benedicts, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a comprehensive coffee and espresso selection.
Continuing a Community Tradition
Since its inception, Petit Soleil has played an important role in the Napa community, serving both locals and tourists who flock to the valley. The new location on Imola Avenue is poised to further this mission by providing a welcoming space for diners seeking quick, fresh, and approachable meals for breakfast and lunch. The cafe’s menu features a variety of breakfast classics served all day, such as bacon and eggs, scones, pancakes, and hash browns, alongside a diverse lunch selection that includes sandwiches, burgers, and fresh salads.
Madrigal’s vision for Petit Soleil extends beyond just food; she aims to foster a friendly atmosphere where neighbors and travelers can connect over quality meals. The cafe emphasizes convenience, with options available for dine-in, takeout, or delivery through third-party services. This commitment to service ensures that customers can enjoy their meals in a way that suits their busy lifestyles.
A Local Dream Realized
Madrigal’s journey in the culinary world is deeply rooted in her lifelong connection to Napa. Having lived in the area her entire life, she envisioned owning her own restaurant. That dream materialized in 2023 when she took over as the new owner of Petit Soleil. Since then, she has focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere that highlights the cafe’s strong local ties while offering delicious, made-to-order meals.
The move to Imola Avenue represents not just a change of address, but a strategic decision to better serve the Napa community and accommodate the steady influx of tourists visiting the area. As Petit Soleil continues to grow, it remains committed to delivering fresh, flavorful breakfast and lunch options, making it an inviting destination for all who appreciate good food and great company.
