Throughout his distinguished career, Frank served for forty years as the general manager of a leading agronomy research facility. Here, he spearheaded innovative projects in selective breeding aimed at enhancing crop resilience and yield. His leadership contributed significantly to the advancement of sustainable agricultural practices, benefiting countless farmers and scientists who relied on his expertise.

Though he was awarded a patent for a clover harvester in 1978, his contributions extended beyond inventions. Frank’s legacy includes his extensive involvement with the Lions Club, where he held various leadership roles, including that of District Governor in 1991. His dedication to service was characterized by humility and an unwavering commitment to helping others in his community.

Frank shared a remarkable partnership with his wife, Marilee Dunn, for over 64 years. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter, and shared goals until her passing just six months prior to his own. He is survived by his two sons, Mike and David, as well as his daughter-in-law Cathy and grandsons Ryan and Will, along with Ryan’s wife, Jessa. Frank had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild, expected in February 2026, a new life he looked forward to nurturing with the warmth and wisdom he had always shared.

A celebration of Frank’s life is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, at 12:00 PM, to be held at the Woodland Lion Banquet Hall. All who knew him are invited to gather in remembrance of a man who built not only physical structures but also a legacy of kindness and community spirit.

Frank Dunn led by example, profoundly impacting the lives of everyone he encountered.
