Oberlin to Honor Veterans with Annual Ceremony on Nov. 11

The Oberlin City School District, in partnership with the city of Oberlin and Oberlin College, will host its annual Veterans Day Appreciation Ceremony on November 11, 2025, at 5 p.m. The event will take place in the gymnasium of Oberlin Elementary School, located at 210 N. Park St. This ceremony aims to honor and recognize the contributions of veterans and active-duty military personnel.

The program will feature performances from notable local groups, including the Midview High School Air Force JROTC, the Oberlin High School Band, and the Firelands Honors Choir. Attendees can expect an array of special honors, which will include keynote speakers who will share insights and reflections on the significance of Veterans Day.

In addition to the formal program, light refreshments will be offered to guests, providing an opportunity for community members to gather and connect.
